In this contribution, we explore the possibility to design transmissive reconfigurable meta-gratings through the use of plasma discharges. The proposed structure leverages on the fascinating electromagnetic properties of plasma to achieve reconfigurability of the field transmitted by a meta-grating. Our findings reveal that, by modulating the plasma frequencies of a set of cylindrical plasma discharges, the propagation direction of the wave transmitted by the grating can be effectively reconfigured from -42° to +42°. The reconfiguration is achieved while maintaining high transmission coefficients, highlighting the potential of plasma-based meta-gratings for adaptive and high-performance applications in the microwave range.
