Fisica quantistica e scienze della religione. Ovvero come non scambiare oggetti, metodi e soggetti.

The essay examines the intersections between quantum physics and the science of religion, proposing the hypothesis that the central issue lies not in the compatibility of their respective fields of study, but rather in the potential for an epistemologically grounded interaction between the subjects of research. The investigation begins with a methodological question: Is it possible to establish a genuinely interdisciplinary field that connects quantum physics and the science of religion, one that articulates methods and theoretical categories in a non- reductionist manner? Through a critical analysis of the main phases of what is known as the Quantum Turn, the text highlights the disparity in interest shown by physicists towards religious traditions, contrasted with the limited academic at- tention that the science of religion has paid to contemporary physics models. Fi- nally, the argument underscores the need to define epistemological coordinates that can support a structured dialogue between diverse but related disciplines.
