This paper presents an in-depth analysis of the Pump-driven Two-Phase Cooling (PTPC) system and its performance evaluation in power electronic converters cooling. A dedicated testbed has been designed and constructed to assess the advantages of the proposed PTPC system over traditional heatsink-based cooling methods. The evaluation focuses on cooling a three-phase converter comprising a 1200 V, 450 A IGBT power module connected to an AC load emulator. The experimental results highlight the superior performance of PTPC technology, demonstrating significant benefits compared to conventional cooling techniques.
