Explosive phenomena represent one of the risks present within mining activities. These phenomena can have disastrous consequences on people, structures and the environment surrounding the mining site. In fact, the explosion uses a wave of pressure and heat that affects everything at the time the accident occurs. Different software were studied and developed by many researchers with the aim of simulate explosive effects in order to define the consequences might be on people and the environment, the development time of the event and the energy that is released. In this work, incidental configurations were analysed inside a quarry analysing the explosion of a refuelling tank for vehicles employed in the site. The software is based on the input of data related to weather conditions to those of the ground and the characteristics of the substance that explodes and generates a huge release of energy into the surrounding environment. Different incidental configurations were with four different weather conditions affecting the explosive event. The results make it clear that the areas of effect of explosive waves are strongly influenced by the ground conditions in which they propagate and the weather conditions at the moment of the accident. The data obtained are quite accurate with an acceptable degree of approximation compared to the data in the literature.
