A color analysis instrument based on the HAMAMATSU C12880MA spectrophotometer was used to analyze the color of interior environments. This portable, lowcost instrument was developed to analyze the different shades of paint on walls, thus offering valuable assistance to interior designers in choosing color. The different color shades of the walls are achieved through various types of LED lights available on the market. The HAMAMATSU spectrophotometer was connected to a workstation via an Arduino R4 Wi-Fi microcontroller, and through simple reflectance measurements of the walls illuminated with different light sources, it was highlighted how the spectrum exhibits a color variation as the light used as the source varies.
