This paper presents a unified boundary integral formulation for the aerodynamic and aeroacoustic analysis of rotorcraft operating under severe Blade-Vortex Interaction (BVI) conditions. Traditional numerical approaches typically rely on a decoupled, two-step process to evaluate aerodynamics and acoustics, and often neglect compressibility effects when treating wake-induced singularities. The proposed methodology overcomes these limitations by coupling a zero-order Boundary Element Method (BEM) for compressible potential flows with a vorticity-based wake regularization technique. This unified framework enables the direct evaluation of radiated noise through Bernoulli’s theorem, circumventing the explicit computation of blade surface pressure.
