Quality education serves as a foundation for societal development, leadership, and innovation. As learning environments evolve, higher education institutions are embracing hybrid didactic (HD), a blended approach that integrates traditional teaching methods with digital advancements. This shift from Education 1.0 to Education 4.0 reflects broader transformations in knowledge-sharing, cultural preservation, and institutional adaptability. This study examines the key drivers of student learning, performance, and satisfaction, alongside the role of educators in shaping effective hybrid learning experiences. A systematic literature review using the PRISMA approach identified research gaps across 108 academic records, guiding a mixed-method investigation. Data collected in 2022 includes 20 student interviews, two focus groups with 20 teachers, and survey responses from 442 students in Italy. The qualitative findings, analyzed through thematic analysis, complement quantitative insights drawn from Bayesian network analysis and descriptive statistics, offering a comprehensive understanding of hybrid teaching effectiveness. Results highlight the importance of leadership, institutional adaptability, and culturally responsive education in ensuring sustainable learning environments. Insights from students and faculty reveal the need for strategic planning, balanced workloads, and inclusive policies that enhance engagement and academic success. By identifying critical factors that drive student experiences and faculty well-being, this research provides actionable guidance for higher education leaders and policymakers. A multi-stakeholder approach to service design ensures that institutions remain adaptable, accessible, and effective, preparing students for the challenges of a globalized and technology-driven world.

Abstract
A multi-stakeholder approach to service design ensures that institutions remain adaptable, accessible, and effective, preparing students for the challenges of a globalized and technology-driven world.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
