Abstract

On this paper it is shown a study and integration of different procedures in order to detect a face in a still picture or track it in a movie sequence. Once a skin colour region has been detected by colour segmentation, it is then classified as face or non-face through a template matching method. This method has been improved by the use of fuzzy theory. After face detection, face features, e.g. eyes and mouth, are then extracted. -
