The difficulties of inclusion typical of lower secondary school have been known for long time and, according to the most recent researches, they are showing no sign of diminishing. In order to promote the educational success of all students, it is therefore essential to identify sustainable ways to redefine the curriculum in an inclusive way, with the identification of more effective lines of use of the resources already available to the school system. Among these resources, the presence of music as a curricular discipline and its enhancement with the musical instrument teaching in lower secondary schools with a musical focus represent a great opportunity that cannot be overlooked. In this perspective, the paper presents some results of a research that involved Italian lower secondary schools with a musical orientation in order to identify guidelines useful for improving the level of inclusion of musical instrument teaching. In particular, the paper presents some results relating to the development of an inclusive access test that allows to bring out the musical aptitude of students with special educational needs.

Abstract
In particular, the paper presents some results relating to the development of an inclusive access test that allows to bring out the musical aptitude of students with special educational needs.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
