Abstract

Italy possesses a wide-ranging, minor architectural heritage, to which it might be better to refer in terms of “architectural assets”, rather than “historical buildings”. In recent years, the economic crisis has directed planning processes regarding the minor architectural heritage towards sustainable reuse. This paper describes the results of interdisciplinary research led by the Architectural Department of Roma Tre University, aimed at enhancing the minor architectural heritage and improving accessibility for people with disabilities. Therefore, the establishment of a Diffuse Urban Augmented Museum is proposed, based on a content-sharing platform for the dissemination of augmented reality contents aimed at compensating sensory, cognitive and physical disabilities. Lastly, the results of quantitative measure Conjoint Analysis will be described, in terms of specific choice models for the application of ICT for the reutilization of architectural assets.
