Over the past twenty years, partly because of the internal conflict that generates physical and psychological impairments, the disability is an issue of such sensitivity in Colombia. Therefore, university facilities must be accessible and inclusive. This paper focuses on the application of the principles of environmental accessibility and inclusive education by the Universidad Industrial de Santander in one of its pavilions designed by Daniel Bonilla's Studio TAB, Taller de Arquitectura de Bogotá. The Firm reinterprets in terms of environmental accessibility and inclusive education, the building type of the Casa caney, typical of the region, intended for drying tobacco leaves. The pavilion is an excellent example of chronotopic integration and evolution of the typological characters of university facilities: the inclusive design features are integrated with the principles of openness to the landscape and environment and that’s make the pavilion a benchmark for the design of buildings for higher education.

Abstract
The pavilion is an excellent example of chronotopic integration and evolution of the typological characters of university facilities: the inclusive design features are integrated with the principles of openness to the landscape and environment and that’s make the pavilion a benchmark for the design of buildings for higher education.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
