This study focuses on the technical comparison of different solutions for the realization of a grid-connected photovoltaic system. A simulative model implemented in MATLAB was developed that can predict the annual production of the plant, starting from the nominal power and the meteorological data. The approach used is based on calculating the efficiency and losses of all components of the plant, to determine the power fed into the grid in hourly values on an annual basis. The aim is to check whether certain technologies, which theoretically prevail over others, are also better in a specific project and whether the current market also allows for their choice in economic terms.

Abstract
